Tonight’s new episode of “Star Wars Rebels” brought us a pretty big change for the Ghost crew, and a question that a lot of fans have been wondering lately is that is the series starting to wrap things up for an eventual conclusion soon? The series has yet to be officially renewed for a fourth season, but in a new interview over at ComicBook.com, Dave Filoni provides us with some updates on the status of the show, and even in his typical vague way, it does sound like we can expect more stories with the Ghost crew beyond season three.
You can check out some of what Dave Filoni had to say about the future of the series below from ComicBook.com. He does mention a spoiler from tonight’s episode at the end of his last quote, so be careful if you haven’t seen tonight’s new episode yet:

“You always have an eye on it, and it’s tricky. I have to be honest. It’s tricky in TV having worked on a series that frankly didn’t really have an all-out end like we had planned it. I’m always a bit wary. I’m thinking, ‘Okay, where do we need this to go? Because I want to make sure that we take the audience in these Star Wars stories, I think, on this really, I hope, interesting and entertaining journey, and I want them to feel that they get a complete payoff for it, and that it’s the story that we intended.”
“From the very beginning, Simon and I, working with the writers and story group have had a goal in mind of where we would like to get to with this, and we’ve been taking steps towards it along the way, and some surprising twists and turns even to us, but we always have a goal in mind of where we want to be. So, I think we have taken some strong steps towards that with always an eye on ‘Does the adventure continue?’ So we’ll have to see. For Sabine, hopefully the adventure will continue. That would be great because then we can change her hair again. People love that.”

Celebration Orlando should be very interesting for “Star Wars Rebels” and it’s future. If I were to guess, I’d say we get one more season to wrap up everything the way Dave Filoni and his crew intended to, and then we get a brand new series. But we’ll have to wait and see to know for sure, and that just makes the anticipation for Celebration this year even greater!
Be sure to head on over to ComicBook.com for the full interview, including other comments from Dave Filoni specifically on tonight’s episode about Sabine.
“Star Wars Rebels” is back! As the final batch of episodes for season three kicks off tonight with “Legacy of Mandalore,” Rebels Recon makes it’s return as well, giving us an inside look at Sabine’s big episode with the cast and crew, as well as a sneak peek at next week’s new episode, “Through Imperial Eyes”!
Toyfair is going on in New York City right now, and that means tons of new Star Wars toys. And while most people will be on the lookout for anything relating to The Last Jedi, I’m much more interested in new LEGO sets. Several were revealed for the first time today, including what appear to be three new LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures sets.
The minifigures included appear to be completely new designs for the Freemakers, and include Quarrie (from Star Wars Rebels episode, Wings of the Master) and what appears to be an Inquisitor! Oh, and Dengar is on the box of one of the sets, but the other figures are mysteriously blank!
I had to dig deeper and see if I could get confirmation of a second season of the surprise standout series, so I went directly to the source; Bob Roth and Bill Motz, on Twitter.
@RebelsPodcast @HolocronKeeper @automaticgravy Still no official announcement, but that ship looks pretty cool, don’t you think? 😉

Sounds like non-confirmation confirmation to me! Are these new sets pointing to the possibility of more adventures with the Freemaker Family? Only time will tell. But we’d be willing to bet the Falcon against those odds.
Are you excited for more potential LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures? Let us know in the comments.

We’re getting close to the end of “Star Wars Rebels” season 3, and now we know what to expect from the final five episodes, as the titles and descriptions for them have now been revealed!
The guys over at Jedi-Bibliothek have once again revealed the titles and descriptions for these episodes, via The Star Wars Underworld, and you can check out them out below:

3×19 “Double Agent Droid” – 3/11/2017
3×20 “Twin Suns” – 3/18/2017
3×21 – “Zero Hour – Part One” – 3/25/2017
3×22 “Zero Hour- Part Two” – 3/25/2017
[/blockquote]
Obviously the episode that just jumps out at you is “Twin Suns,” as it would leave you to believe that that will be the episode we will see the long awaited rematch between Obi Wan and Maul, but what is surprising is that the episode will not be the season finale. But it is possible that “Twin Suns” will be the starting point of a three episode arc that will lead and continue into the two-part finale “Zero Hour.”
There is much to speculate on with those last three episodes while we’re still in the middle of a hiatus, but thankfully that hiatus wont be much longer, as the final run of episodes for “Star Wars Rebels” kicks off next week on February 18th!
