After hearing rumors the last few days about Michael Arndt being the writer for Episode VII, StarWars.com has now confirmed that he will in fact be writing the screenplay for Episode VII! Here’s part of the announcement from StarWars.com:

Kathleen Kennedy and George Lucas have begun story conferences with Arndt.
