While we previously heard about the first season of “Star Wars Rebels” releasing on Blu-ray and DVD in September thanks to an Amazon listing for it a few weeks ago, it is now finally official! “Star Wars Rebels: Complete Season One” will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on September 1st, and will include some cool special features.
Here are all the details for it, as well as the official press release sent to us from Lucasfilm:

Now that the “The Siege of Lothal” has aired on Disney XD, it feels good to be writing a post for a new Rebels Recon episode again!

The wait is over when “The Siege of Lothal” airs this Saturday, June 20th on Disney XD.
Another great clip from the season 2 premiere “The Siege Of Lothal” featuring Darth Vader has been released, but this time we get a sneak peek at his amazing flying skills!
This entire sequence of Vader flying his TIE Advanced was the highlight of the premiere for me, and I can’t wait for all “Star Wars” fans to check it out!

Over at the Huffington Post, they have posted a new article about the season two premiere of “Star Wars Rebels,” and in that article there is a new video of the cast and crew of the series talking about what we can expect to see in season two, and how it will be more like “The Empire Strikes Back” in it’s tone.

Here’s our first look at the “Star Wars Rebels” characters that will be playable in Disney Infinity 3.0, as well as the figures that will be made available for them!
There four characters included from “Star Wars Rebels” are Ezra, Kanan, Sabine, and Zeb (Where’s Hera?) and were revealed in an article over at StarWars.com about the making of each figure for the game. Here are the images of the “Star Wars Rebels” figures revealed:
But while StarWars.com had the figure reveals, Game Informer had some screenshots of all the Rebels characters in action in various levels of the game! Here are those images:
Game Informer also revealed that the Rebels figures are playable in the toy box immediately, but in order to use them in the “Twilight of the Republic” or “Rise Against the Empire” playsets, they’ll have to be unlocked.

While we’re still waiting to hear from Lucasfilm and Disney about the first season of “Star Wars Rebels” being released on DVD and Blu-ray, it looks like we’ll be able to get our hands on a complete season set release on September 1st, as that is the date Amazon currently has listed for a release.
No special features or an image of the set was provided, but the price for it is being listed as $41.39 for the Blu-ray, and $39.99 for the DVD.
Hopefully we’ll get an official announcement for the season 1 release soon with special features details, but until then, you can already pre-order the set over at Amazon.
A brief new teaser has been released for the season two premiere of “Star Wars Rebels” titled the “The Siege Of Lothal,” and offers some new glimpses of all the cool action we’ll see in the premiere!
We’re now just under two weeks away from the season two premiere, so start getting excited for it if you’re not already!
