Star Wars Rebels Season 2 To Have More Episodes Than Season 1

It’s hard to believe that we’re already almost done with the first season of “Star Wars Rebels,” which is mainly because the first season only contains 16 episodes, and that’s if you include the premiere movie and  the shorts. But now thanks to a tweet from Freddie Prinze Jr, the voice actor of Kanan reveals that season 2 of “Star Wars Rebels” will contain nearly twice as many episodes as season 1!  You can check out the tweet below.

Hearing there will be more episodes for season 2 is definitely great news, and one character who will probably return in one of those season 2 episodes will be Lando Calrissian. In an article from Cinelinx, Billy Dee Williams confirms he will be coming back as Lando in “Star Wars Rebels.” Here’s the portion of the article where Billy Dee confirms that he will be returning as Lando:

[blockquote cite=]I got the chance to speak with Billy Dee last night one-on-one to talk about his return (full interview is coming soon), and he confirmed we’ll see Lando again.  He said he’s been working with the Rebels crew for a year or so and when I asked him bluntly if we’ll see him again in Star Wars Rebels he responded: “Yeah!  There’s more adventures with Lando coming up.”[/blockquote]

While we still got a few more episodes to see for season 1, the excitement for season 2 is already starting to heat up!
