This summer is already going by fast, and that means we’re getting closer to seeing the latest “Star Wars” animated series, “Star Wars Resistance” in the fall! But even though we’re getting closer to its fall premiere, we’re still waiting for some official updates on the new series from Lucasfilm. But as we continue to wait, the guys over at Jedi-Bibliothek have gotten their hands on a German Disney press release that gives us the description of the first episode of “Star Wars Resistance” titled, “The Recruit.”

The description was first revealed yesterday via a tweet by Jedi-Bibliothek, which has since been deleted, but you can still check out the description for it below, via The Star Wars Underworld:

Resistance fighter Poe Dameron tasks young pilot Kazuda “Kaz” Xiono with spying on the First Order. At the time, little was known about the secretive organization and its strength.

In order to fulfill his mission, Kaz travels to the space station Colossus, which is being used by many ships as a port to refuel and do repairs. However, there are also dangerous races taking place there. After Kaz bragged with his piloting skills at his arrive there, he is soon drawn into one of the races…

Also revealed in that press release was that the first season will consist of twenty two episodes, and that the series looks to premiere on October 13th in Germany as a two-parter.

As we’re about to head into August, hopefully it won’t be much longer until Lucasfilm starts revealing the premiere details for “Star Wars Resistance” in other areas. But it’s probably a safe bet to assume that it will be pretty close to the German premiere in October, as “Star Wars Rebels” made it’s debut that same month with a two-parter as well.
